Zumo principal Monica Moses has coached and trained hundreds of leaders to be more empathetic, influential and strategic. Having been an uncertain boss herself once, she knows the insecurities and blind spots that foil leaders at all levels. In her 20 years as a leader (10 at the executive level), she directed a number of huge change initiatives that spanned several years and hundreds of people. She has also spent a decade teaching leadership, supervising leaders, coaching leaders, consulting in organizations and writing about leadership and work relationships.

Monica is certified in Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Leadership Development, William Bridges' Organizational Transition Model and the Mobius Change Model. She is trained in Leadership Coaching, Positive Organizational Change, in David Allen’s Getting Things Done system, Conflict Mediation, and Harvard’s Program on Negotiation. She has a B.A. in English (Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude) from St. Olaf College, an M.A. in Communications from the University of Minnesota and is finishing graduate work in Human Development. She started her career as a writer, editor and graphic designer and went on to win dozens of creative awards.
